Cabbage Cooked Down with Onion and Black Pepper
Nothing to prove. Nowhere to be.

An hour of letting go.
- One head green cabbage, cored and sliced
- Two yellow onions, sliced thin
- Butter, four tablespoons
- Coarse black pepper
- Flaky salt
- Melt butter in a wide pan.
- Add onions. Low heat.
- When soft, add cabbage.
- Season. Cover. Walk away.
- Stir when you remember.
- Cook until collapsed and sweet.
Some things just need time.
